A shower can be simple and still gorgeous at the same time. Don't feel overwhelmed if you are throwing a shower of any kind for someone. Here are some tips to keep it simple.

One stop shop: I bought almost everything at Costco except I splurged and got pastries from a bakery down the street from where we live. It wasn't out of the way and I was able to buy ahead of time and have a friend pick them up on the way to the shower.
Pick a theme and stick with it: "Brunch with the Bride" was our theme so our food was breakfast items and a mimosa bar.
Take home gifts can be simple: I put ribbon around mini champagne bottles and they were a big hit!
